A Community of Seekers Celebrating and Sharing God's Love!

Adult Ministry

We believe that part of our call as Christians is to be in service.  So as individuals and small groups we seek to serve others by building Habitat for Humanity houses, by preparing meals for families at Ronald McDonald House, by hosting Room in the Inn and much more.

Bible study groups and small groups that follow thematic studies for discipleship meet each week during our Wonderful Wednesday program - from Labor Day through Memorial Day.

Adult Sunday School at APMUMC

Sunday school classes for toddlers through adults of all ages begin at 9:15 am each Sunday morning.

Adult classes include young adult groups, middle adults, seniors, a men’s class and a women’s class.

Many groups use Adult Bible Studies, which is a lectionary-based series produced by the United Methodist Publishing House.  Other classes rotate various Bible and life application studies.

Visitors are always welcome and we strive to find a Sunday school class for everyone.

Wonderful Wednesdays

The Andrew Price family comes together each Wednesday night from Labor Day to Memorial Day for a wonderful time of fellowship and study.

Newcomers are always welcome.

United Methodist Women

Is a community of women like you: women of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds; employed and unemployed; women with disabilities; housewives and businesswomen; singe, married, widow and divorced women; teen women, young women, middle-aged women, and older women; college/university women; multicultural and multiracial women committed to mission.

A member of the United Methodist Women is one who commits herself to our Purpose and chooses to participate in meetings, prayer, giving, study, action and/or service.  The organization celebrates an inclusive membership and welcomes all women who want to be members.

Purpose of United Methodist Women:

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Andrew Price Memorial United Methodist has 6 circles.  Each circle meets once a month.  Each circle meets on a different day of the week and at a different time.  So, you can choose the day and time that best fits your schedule.   There are General Meetings once each quarter in which all the circles participate.

We have a lot of funding raising events during the year like providing lunches during Holy Week, a Salad Lunch each year in September, and we sell pecans in November.  We do all these things while having fun and enjoy great fellowship fulfilling the Purpose of the United Methodist Women.

Please call the church office and you will be provided the information about circle meetings.

We look forward to having you as a part of our community.
